Membership Types

Organizational - create your own plant community
Organizational Members are organizations that provide their customers individual membership discounts through their affiliation with that organization. These may be the Organization's own members, or customers. We will track all registered plants with the Organization as the source. There are two different types:

• The Organization invites individuals to join themselves at a discounted rate through the organization via a unique invitation code. The individual members will pay for their own memberships when joining. Plantcestry will track their plants with the Organization as the source.

• The Organization adds its own members in through its account and pays a discounted fee for each individual's yearly memberships. The Organization has options for how many members it would like to add. Plantcestry will track their plants with the Organization as the source.
  

Influencer
Influencer Members are individuals who have blogs, websites or other social media platforms that provide plant and plant sharing tips and information.

Sponsor
Sponsor Members are organizations or businesses unrelated to the plant industry who would like to market to Plantcestry members or promote their services on the Plantcestry public website.

Industry
Industry Members are plant or plant supply sources who would like to offer discounts or other benefits to Plantcestry members.

Believer - help spread the word
Do you love the Plantcestry mission to "create a more compassionate world through propagating and sharing plants?" Include a Plantcestry information card when you sell your plants or plant supplies so others can register their new plants on the site.

Engagement Ideas

Do you have a storefront?
Add a "propagation station" with recommended plants which are easily propagated. Include a Plantcestry information card with every purchase and encourage customers to register their own Original Plant Lines.  Include your member number on the card so customers who register their plant will be tracked back to your business on the Plantcestry Map and business directory.

Do you sell plants online?
Create a "propagation friendly" section on your website. Provide a Plantcestry information card with your shipment to encourage customers to register their own Original Plant Lines. Include your member number on the card so customers who register their plant will be tracked back to your business on the Plantcestry Map and business directory.

Do you have a plant blog or post about plants on social media?
Share the Plantcestry mission with your followers and encourage them to register their own Original Plant Lines. Include your member number on the card so customers who register their plant will be tracked back to your business on the Plantcestry Map and business directory.
